A STATE OF ABUSE OF POWER !
Is Homeland Security Preparing for the Next Wall Street Collapse?
The Looming Debt Ceiling Crisis
The next crisis on the agenda appears to be the October 17th deadline for agreeing on a federal budget or risking default on the government’s loans. It may only be a coincidence, but two large-scale drills are scheduled to take place the same day, the “Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill” and the “Quantum Dawn 2 Cyber Attack Bank Drill.” According to a Bloomberg news clip on the bank drill, the attacks being prepared for are from hackers, state-sponsored espionage, and organized crime (financial fraud). One interviewee stated, “You might experience that your online banking is down . . . . You might experience that you can’t log in.” It sounds like a dress rehearsal for the Great American Bail-in.
Could the U.S. Default? An Impossible Thought Rattles the Market
Sept. 30, 2013
U.S. stocks rounded out a six-day slide on Friday as tempers flared in Washington D.C. After this weekend’s spectacular showdown between the House and the Senate, rival parties, and rivals within parties, analysts predict an even bigger jolt to the markets when trading floors open on Monday.
But it’s not October 1st, the much ballyhooed date of the government shutdown, that has investors spooked — it’s October 17th, the day the government runs out of money to pay back its loans and risks default.
Great ShakeOut earthquake drill set Oct. 17
Tuesday, September 24, 2013 10:55 pm
On Oct. 17 at 10:17 a.m., drop to the ground, take cover under a sturdy desk or table and then hold on for at least 60 seconds.
That’s what Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region X and Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington State officials are asking people to do as part of the 2013 Great ShakeOut — an international drill meant to help people prepare for a major earthquake.
“The ShakeOut is an exercise that we start practicing in grade school and never outgrow,” Kenneth D. Murphy, FEMA Region X administrator, said in a news release. “Earthquakes cannot be predicted and can occur anywhere at any time, which is why it is important to know what to do when one occurs.”
When an earthquake does hit, FEMA Region X officials say the best option is to get to the floor and take cover, but if that’s not possible, people should go to an inside corner of the room, clear of windows and items that could fall on them.
